With a focus on attracting serious investors
and maintaining civilized forums, InvestorVillage is quickly
becoming the most engaging & informative stock discussion

We encourage vigorous, open debate and welcome
differing, even opposing, points of view. However, we
expect our members to behave as mature adults, act with
common decency, and abide by the policies expressed in

A Brief History
Founded in late 2003 by the Kidd brothers,
Blue and John, InvestorVillage originally operated as
a private stock discussion community under the name "BuyB4theRush."
Two years later, Hurricane Katrina surprised the country
and caused Blue to relocate from New Orleans to Atlanta,
where his brother John lives. This twist of fate led to
John's decision to quit his executive-level day job and
partner with Blue to launch InvestorVillage as a full-time,
free stock discussion forum open to the investing public.
The response since then has been nothing
short of phenomenal. Today InvestorVillage is home to
investors from all 50 states and over 30 countries around
