Re: Even better: 1.05 (but the cat bounced up again) (N/T)
At 1.05, the last time we saw numbers like this was late 2002. There was a weird one-day outlier on November 12th, '02, with a brief intraday blip down to 0.78 before closing at 1.22. The last 'normal' trading day when we saw numbers lower than today's was a month earlier, October 11th, '02, with an intraday of 1.00.
So it's not just a new 52-week low today. It's a new 4 year low. Pretty cool, huh? The stock's now substantially lower than when SCO began its anti-Linux jihad.
Other than the aforementioned blip, the last time we saw the underside of $1 was July 30th, 2002, while July 15th was the last day the stock traded entirely under the $1 mark. So those are the next milestones to keep an eye out for. I expect there'll be a fair bit of resistance at the $1 level, but we may catch a glimpse of 0.90-and-change before the painters get out on work release.
